Thank you to all clients for your continued patience as the Diesel Emissions litigation progresses.

Law Room Solicitors Ltd acts on behalf of Claimants across 9 Group Actions involving diesel vehicles purchased or leased between 2009 and 2018. The claims allege that certain vehicles contained unlawful “Defeat Devices” which caused emissions to exceed legal limits.

The cases have now been consolidated within the High Court and form part of the largest claim ever brought before the English Courts by client number, with approximately 1.6 million Claimants.

The first Trial concluded on 19 March 2026 and Judgment is currently expected around July 2026. Subject to that outcome, a further Trial is scheduled for October 2026 to assess any losses suffered by Claimants.

Clients are not required to take any further action at this stage. We will continue to provide monthly updates on this webpage as the litigation progresses.
