What is the Diesel Emissions Scandal?

The diesel emissions scandal, often known as “Dieselgate”, came to prominence in 2015 when it was discovered that Volkswagen fitted illegal devices to their vehicles to lower the car’s emissions but only during testing. Other manufactures such as Mercedes, BMW, Vauxhall have all allegedly fitted similar devices.

Some claimants have been left out of pocket as fuel economy is often worse than specified. Some wish to penalise the manufacturer for harming the environment and to send a message to large corporation that this behaviour will not be tolerated.

Whatever your reason, we work on a No Win, No Fee basis. Bringing a claim will not cost you anything in legal fees if you are unsuccessful.
